“You turned my wailing into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to You and not be silent.”

Ecclesiastes 3: 1&4

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven….a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.”

Jeremiah 31:4

“ Again I will rebuild you and you will be rebuilt O virgin of Israel!  Again you will take up your tambourines and go forth to the dances of the merrymakers.”

—Additional Scriptures
—2 Samuel 6:14 – After the ark of the Lord was brought to Jerusalem:

“David danced before the Lord with all His might.”

—Psalm 150:4

—Psalm 149: 3

“Let them praise His name with dancing.”

In the Bible, Jesus said:

“But what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the market places who call out to the other children, and say, ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.”

Mattthew 11: 16-17 (emphasis added)

In this passage, Jesus is saying that He wants us to respond with our actions. Let us not be a silent and immobile generation. We can use our talent of dance to inspire and serve the world around us. Let US be a DANCING GENERATION!!!
